Redfish, also called Red Drum or Channel Bass is a super fun sportfish. They are quite the challenge. The shallower the water, the more fun it is to out last this beautiful fish. Similar to bonefish, they spook easily, so when fishing for redfish it's always best to be extremely quite.

- Redfish are strong fighters when hooked
- Redfish grow very quickly
- Redfish move into the shallow waters to forage for food and when they are feeding they will have their tails out of the water - great time to start casting
- When Redfish are feeding they get very spooky, so silence is recommended
